At Ink and Ideas Publication House, we put a lot of care into making sure your books reach you in perfect condition. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. This policy outlines the circumstances under which returns or refunds are permitted.
- Eligibility for Return/Replacement
You can request a return or replacement if:
- You received the wrong book/product.
- The book was damaged or defective when it arrived.
- There was a printing or binding issue that made the book unreadable.
Note: We do not accept returns for reasons like “change of mind” or if the book has already been read/used.
- Timeframe
To be eligible, you must inform us within 7 days of receiving your order. After this period, we may not be able to process a return or refund.
- Condition of Return
The book must be returned in its original condition—unused, unmarked, and with all packaging intact.
- Refund Process
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days and credited back to your original payment method.
- Non-Refundable Situations
- Books purchased on clearance/sale.
- E-books or digital products (once downloaded).
- Delays caused by courier services (though we’ll assist you in tracking).
- Return Shipping
If the return is due to our mistake (wrong or damaged item), we will cover the shipping cost. For other reasons, the customer may need to bear the return shipping charges.
