We are delighted to share that “The Silence Between Old Friends,” a personal essay by Fatema Shahiwala, has been featured in The Celebrity Times.

Written after a prompt from an Ink & Ideas poetry competition in May, the piece is a quiet, honest reflection on friendships that fade without closure, and the strange comfort of holding onto their memory anyway rather than mourning their loss. It’s a deeply personal piece from someone at the very heart of Ink & Ideas Publication House. Fatema is currently working on two debut books of her own, a poetry collection and a short story anthology.
