Publishing is Not Just Printing. It’s a Responsibility.

If you’ve come across publishers offering packages at ₹3,000, ₹5,000, or even ₹10,000 — and that works for you, please go ahead. There is genuinely space for everyone in this industry, and I mean that with full respect.

But this is my story. And my approach has always been different.

A Book is Never Just a Printed Object

As an author first, and now as the founder of Ink & Ideas Publication House, I have never seen a manuscript as just a file to be formatted and sent to print. Every manuscript that comes to me carries something deeply personal — someone’s voice, their years of thought, their quiet courage to finally put words on paper and share them with the world.

That deserves more than a rushed process. That deserves more than a pricing race.

Why We Don’t Chase Volume

At Ink & Ideas, we don’t aim to push out dozens of titles just to stay visible. Sometimes we take on only a handful of books over several months — and that is a completely conscious choice.

Because every book we say yes to goes through a thoughtful, intentional journey. From the first read to the final detail, nothing is skipped. And even after everything is done, I personally sit with each book before it reaches its final stage.

That pause matters. That extra layer matters.

Good Work Takes Time

We don’t follow quick publishing timelines, and we never will. In an industry that increasingly rewards speed, we choose to reward care.

Because a book should not just exist — it should stand with confidence.

This is Not a Transaction. It’s a Responsibility.

Publishing, for me, has never been about numbers. It has always been about meaning. About honoring the trust an author places in you when they hand over something they’ve poured their heart into.

That is exactly how I choose to build this journey — one book, one story, one author at a time.
